We want to hear from you!

Our newsletter group doesn't look at web activity to base their email sends - however we do use a third party service to manage our lists and validate email addresses, as the lists are quite large. You are able to manage your newsletters via your My Account setting on the site. Our newsletter team and writers work hard to provide this free service and content, and we hope you subscribe and enjoy this service.

We appreciate all the comments as we work through bug fixes to the community. The Betty Crocker Community has been even more well received that we had expected and we are working hard to provide the best service possible and hopefully without interruption. Thanks for your input and being part of our community!

We want to hear from you!

Good Morning Patty,

I know you know who I am because you've written such nice replies to my postings.  But to make a point,  I really appreciate what you do!  Unfortunately,  obviously there a few ( a very limited few) who don't.  For myself, I love that this site is free.  I am very lucky that even though it is free it's still so well maintained and monitored.  If it weren't free, I would not be able to participate, as I cannot work- I'm disabled.  I'm sure you know that 99.9999999999999999999999999999999% of us appreciate and know how hard you work to keep this site working with no problems.  Unfortunately, as you said, things happen and certainly NOT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.  It is also unfortunate that there is usually one individual who has to come along and make things uncomfortable for the others.  I mean, you can't have everything you want in life.  I'd like to walk, but that's not going to happen.  I'd like to be a master chef, or even a good cook,  but that will only happen in time, maybe!  I'd like to have enough money to pay my bills on time, but that'll only happen if I win some lottery.  Near as I can tell, this website is as about as close to perfect as you'll ever find, and as I said----99.999999999999999999999% of us agree.  So once again, thank you ALL for your hard work!

Sincerely,

chicagosinger

We want to hear from you!

Thanks Chicago Singer! Of course I know who you are, we call you one of our "power-users" and very much appreciate all of the time you put into our community. For a company of this large size, there is a fairly small group of us who manage the message boards, and we have been thrilled with the participation we have gotten on the boards. As you can imagine, we are all big fans of Betty Crocker, and it has been so much fun to “get to know” others around the country who feel the same and who are so willing to go the extra mile to dig up a recipe, offer advice, or just have a chat.

And thanks from all of us for recognizing our hard work – we know things are not perfect, but it is a pretty big website with lots of pieces of technology that need to work together, and sometimes it takes some time for us to get things tuned correctly.

Have a great rest of the day, and keep on posting!

P.S. our smiley faces should be fixed tomorrow!

Smile

We want to hear from you!

Hi Patty,

Thanks for your kind words as usual!  It kind of irks me when people put negative stuff out there, it really does ruin the fun.  I guess I'm the only one who'll speak up.  My husband has told many times that if I don't react it'll stop,  well BALONEY!  It's not welcome nor understood, so I speak up!  This website, I believe was designed to be someplace for us beginners and 'master chefs' to go to share recipes, ideas and support each other in their endeveavors to either prepare meals or make really special ones. That's what makes it fun!  It's not here for any ego-trips or one-upmanships, we are all on equal ground here.  I would hope that if other members feel the way I do, that they will take the time to express themselves under this particular heading.  Maybe then ALL of us can get back to cooking, sharing and exchanging recipes and ideas in a non-combative environment.  I'll stop now, I've had my say!  Thanx!
